Our geriatric physician and nurse practitioner have increased their overall WRVU totals by about 41% in only three months or so utilizing RMT's transcription services.  The physician has found that her WRVU/encounter has gone up from 1.83 to 2.0 during the same time.  The providers are including more information about the patient and can address care planning in much greater detail than depending on limited templates or repetitive entries.  We have added two new assisted living facilities during this time period and are documenting visits in our new palliative care program.  Our providers need to focus on their geriatric patients during each visit for fear of missing the subtle clues and changes so critical to caring for this fragile population.  All in all, transcription is a bargain for the provider and a bonus for the patient.  Thanks to you and your folks.  Fred, Project Manager

Although I have only been the administrator for less than six months, our facility has utilized Rocky Mountain Transcription for the last 8-1/2 years.
